Welcome!

Welcome to the South Lake Presbyterian Church (SLPC) website!  Many of you may be visiting these pages for the first time and you may be curious about our church.  We hope these pages give you a small glimpse into the wonderful things that God is doing in and through our church.  If you are in the area we would love for you to come visit!

South Lake is a great church, made of a diversity ages, ethnicities, and people from all walks of life.  Here you will find an accepting and nurturing community to walk beside you on your journey of faith, surrounding you with love during times of joy and times of sadness.

Our church is a very active church with events and ministries happening throughout the week.  On Sunday we have three different worship services: a child-friendly contemporary service at 9:00, a traditional service at 11:00, and our alternative service (Song in the Night)  at 6:30.  Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults is at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.  We also serve God and the community throughout the week through our food pantry and through our senior meals and activities program.

Whatever your past spiritual or church experience, we want you to know that you are welcome here. We would love to get to know you and hope that your first experiences here will be just the beginning of a great relationship. Please feel free to join us at any time for any event, and thank you again for showing an interest in our church!

Theology on Tap

Friday, May 7th is Theology on Tap!  We will be gathering at Lakeside Bar and Grill beginning at 5:30 and order food at 6:00.  We will be discussing a church in Texas that gave away over $4,000,000 in prizes on Easter Sunday.  Was this a novel way to get people to hear the gospel message, or a shameful gimmick.  Read more here and then come on by and let us know what you think!
